As a part of Excelian’s CSR commitment, we have been working with Dame Alice Owens

To achieve this, Excelian and Dame Alice Owen’s  have been implementing the prominent Eco Schools programme. Together, we created  an Action Team comprised of an Excelian consultant, teachers, administration staff and most importantly pupils, to understand their impacts on the environment within their day-to-day roles at school. As a result of this understanding, the Action Team have created a Sustainable Action Plan for the school to help them reduce their environmental impact over the coming year.
In addition to this work, we have also undertaken an Energy Analysis of the schools operations, identifying significant monetary savings over the course of the year with little to no requirement for investment.

We are delighted to say that Dame Alice Owen have now received their Bronze Award and are on their way to a Silver Award by the summer of this year.
