Excelian provides a complete range of Murex related services on Murex MX.3, MxG2000 and MLC architectures and is widely regarded as a market leader for the implementation, configuration and integration of Murex software. Since the company's inception in 2001, Murex has remained the primary application and core focus for both the Capital Markets and Commodity practices and has helped us to develop unique relationships with both the vendor and user community alike.
By the end of 2007 we had completed in excess of 60 Murex projects including fully outsourced and managed implementations which we have taken through the project lifecycle from feasibility study to pilot project, design to configuration and implementation into post-implementation support.
Many of our projects have involved configuration of the full front-to-back trading and settlement process across multiple asset classes and have been successfully implemented using methodologies including RAD, phased and big bang approaches according to different client requirements. We also provide teams to assist with upgrade projects, implementation of new functionality or modules as well as SME's for ad-hoc or short term requirements.
Of course our range of Murex services now extends past implementation and integration to include managed support, health checks, custom development, tailored training and full documentation services; all of which are available on-site or from our off-site development centers. Our technical consulting division also offers clients unique expertise in the grid enablement of Flex models, application on-boarding and the integration of MPC and MxGrid into the enterprise architecture as well as strategic advice on performance, capacity planning and the optimum target architecture on which to host Murex.
In addition, our broad portfolio of unique tools and templates allows us to rapidly accelerate our projects, with many of these tools automated to bootstrap configuration, deploy environments and automate regression testing and reconciliation. The Murex practice also utilizes and follows the suite of unique Excelian methodologies developed for project management and testing best practice.
